Custom E-Bike Handlebar Riser
A client who rides E-bikes came to us with a project to raise the height of his Sur Ron handlebars. We made several prototypes and then landed on the final version of aluminum with a Type II Black Anodize finish. This item can be bought at this Link.
Wood Projects
Various Wood projects out of 3/4″ Plywood or MDF. These large pieces are usually cut on a 4×4′ CNC Router.
Motorcycle Helmet Mounted GoPro
The customer wanted a custom fitted mount for GoPro camera to a HJC Helmet to record first person videos of motorcycle riding. Going from paper sketch to 3d design to rapid prototyping with 3d printer was quick and easy.
Custom Cutlery
This custom knife was first designed on paper, then cut out of matte board for size fitting. The final design features knife scales cut from Wenge wood, the full tang blade cut from 1080 Steel, and assembled with Epoxy and Brass Pins.
Composite Layup
The client wanted a custom made skimboard to suit their size. The inner core was Divyncell Urethane Foam with an outer shell of fiberglass cloth (4 and 6 ounce layers) with epoxy resin. The 3/4″ foam shape was cut on a CNC Router. The layup was cured using a vacuum bag technique on a form table.
Custom Casting
This fun project involved created a custom art piece in 3d Cad, then 3d printing the male piece (Black), then creating a Silicone mold, where the part can be cast out of cement (Grey) or plaster (White).
Vinyl Cutting and Glass Etching
This project used cut vinyl as a stencil, which was then etched into glass using a media blaster. Garnet media was too abrasive so glass bead media was chosen to frost the glass. The pattern features a male and female sides so you can get two different patterns.
